(Shodan Shinshin Toitsu Aikido, Jokyu Shinshin Toitsudo) Broman Sensei initially trained under the multi-talented Miller Sensei, with the tutelage of George Simcox Sensei. Serving eight years in the Unites States Armed forces, Broman Sensei was honorably discharged from active duty after participating in Operation Desert Storm. He now works as an Engineer where his personal and professional experience are used in design, project coordination, and company programs such as ISO 9000. Broman Sensei holds Associate level degrees in Engineering Technology and Nuclear Power, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Gannon University.
![]() (Nikyu Shinshin Toitsu Aikido, Jokyu Shinshin Toitsudo) Frank’s journey into the world of Aikido started in 1991 by signing up for a class called Ki Development at the Community College of Allegheny County. Under the instruction of John Nadzam (Shoden) and Patricia Wurster (JoKyu) and supervised by the late Sensei George Simcox, Frank obtained the Ki rank of JoKyu and assisted in the instruction of Ki Development before studying Aikido in 1993. Frank has been studying Shinshin Toitsu Aikido under the direction of Sensei Miller since 1993 until Sensei Miller's retirement in 2004. Frank is continuing his study under Sensei Broman. Frank has spent over 27 years in the System and Programming Department at Dollar Bank in Pittsburgh where he is Vice President of Application Development. |
